How Much Do You Willing To Spend On Soap?

How much do you love soap, ladies? Are you willing to spend more money for this? I’m sure you love soap’s delicately fragrance and the rich and creamy foam it gave. Smelling the fragrance itself can be relaxing and pull your self confidence up. I want to share some of soap which was considered to be expensive. Their prices mostly more than $20 per bar while you actually can find the cheaper soap for $10 or even cheaper. LoL

1. Cor Soap from Plank
I read few testimonials about this $125 soap from various sources and found out that it’s still listed on controversy product. Cor soap contains collagen, Chitosan, and silk extract on it. They claimed that this soap can give you a better skin and replenished the broken cells. Though some said that this soap’s ingredients actually not as good as it sounds. Some of scientists even describe the pros and contras about the ingredients and explained how you may pay too much money for such ingredients. Well, I’ve never try this Cor Soap before. If any of you have experience with this soap, come and share it with us.

2. Creed Green Irish Tweed Wooden Shaving Bowl and Soap
This 110 gm soap priced in $75 contains honey, lanolin, sweet almond oil and beeswax which claimed to nourish your skin perfectly. It comes in wooden bowl package.

3. Confianca Apple Soap-Boxed Set-Portugal
This is a vegetable based soap priced $33 for 150grm bar. This soap is well known for its most authentic and hand made soap and have been distributed world wide.

4. Place des Lices Matin d' Ete-Cobblestone Soap in Tarltane Sachet
This beautifully packaged soap priced $26 per 200gm. They claimed that this soap produces rich and creamy foam to moisturize your skin and leave delicately fragrance on you.

5. Place des Lices Peony Soap
This beautiful soap comes in 70z round bar for $23. Not only has delightful peony scented, but it also beautifully sculpted with raised peony.










So, back to my question above, how much do you willing to spend on soap, ladies?

Flat Shoes? No, I Prefer High Heels

I don’t like flat shoes no matter how cute they look. Though I still enjoy looking other girls wear their flat shoes in the afternoon and hang out with their friends, I never think of buying a pair for my own. I have two reasons for this. First, for me flat shoes are too girly. Most of flat shoes have bright colors or funky patterns I suppose. Even if they come in quite formal style, they always seem informal to me. Well, you don’t suppose to wear flat shoes with a gown on a party right? The second reason why I don’t like flat shoes is because I’m short. I want kind of shoes which help me gain few more inches and that will never be fulfilled by flat shoes. So, I think flat shoes will be suitable for taller girls and short girls like me (how many times do I need to rewrite that? LoL) can use the high heels instead.
That’s why I never looked into the flat shoes section every time I went into a store. I know that section wasn’t made for me. I will straightly go to the high heels section no matter what. I will never pay attention to any shoes without heels whatsoever. I only have a pair of flat strappy sandals in my drawer for daily use such as shopping for groceries or any kind of places where I can use short and shirt LoL. But when I use jeans or skirts or dresses, I will definitely go with the high heels.
My favorite style of all time is simple strappy style and I love to play with colors too. I don’t like too many accessories on my shoes such as a big bow or synthetic flowers on it. The straps or colors can make the statement for the shoes; too many accessories will ruin everything. Like this beauty on the left I saw on Bloomingdale site. Very tempting! That’s okay if I don’t feel good with the flat shoes above; I still can be friends with those tempting high heels.

I can't eat shrimps and crabs when I was a kid. It will bring rashes all over my body. But it seems like I don't have any problem with shrimps and crabs anymore now though I always remind myself to avoid consuming them in a big portion. I'm pretty sure that the allergies is still there.

Being In Control About Your Look

Do you know about the stories where women getting ruled by their partners concerning how they look and what kind of outfits they wear? You may find this a bit strange, but I can tell you this truly happens and can be found around you.
Women have different kind of fashion tastes, that’s for sure. Some want to look neat and formal by wearing dark color outfits or formal outfits such as blazer or pencil skirts. While some other want to look girly (no matter how old they are) and choose to use colorful dresses and fun patterns. Not to mention women who always want to look sexy and tempting by using “small size outfits”. For me, there’s nothing wrong with that. Every single woman has right to show how her feeling and decides what kind of appearance she wants to have.
But sometimes, your partner just couldn’t agree with your taste. They want you to change how you dressed according to what they considered to be the best for you. They even checked into your wardrobe and decide whether you may keep your old outfits or not. And it’s not fair. They must realize that this is the way you are when they met you. If they find you’re interesting at that time and want to have a relationship, then I can’t see any reason why they want to change you now. If you a kind of woman who loves to wear a sexy tank top and a short skirt, it’s hard to make you use a formal outfit such as a long dress in dark color.
Just remember, you have the right to decide what kind of appearance you want to have. Even if you want to have Lady Gaga’s style, I think you should go for it! Of course, having a relation ship means you also need to open your heart and mind for your partner too. If both of you can find a middle way for this issue, it would be better. But you shouldn’t feel bad about the decision you made just to make your partner happy. Otherwise, maybe you should thing about finding a right one who can accept you just the way you are, girls.

What Is NYX? Or Who Is NYX?

For ABC Wednesday this week, I’d like to have NYX as my topic. Who is NYX or what is NYX? Well, the answer for the first question about “who is NYX?” is she was a primeval goddess of the night in Greek mythology. She is one of the very first created goddess and was so powerful that even Zeus himself doesn’t want to upset her. She dictates both men and gods. In ancient art, she usually portrayed as a winged goddess and sometimes crowned with dark mists.
Then what is the answer for the second question about “what is NYX?” NYX is also a cosmetics brand from Los Angeles, US. It was founded on 1999 and be known with their quality cosmetics at attractive prices.
I think its fun to find out about two different things separated by thousands of years and dimension like this LoL. And I love them both, NYX as goddess and NYX as cosmetics. Have a blessed Wednesday there, girls..

ANTM Skinny Waist Campaign

I regularly watch “The Next Top Model” stuff recently LoL from the American Next Top Model (ANTM), Canadian Next Top Model and Britain Next Top Model. What? Oh no, don’t get me wrong, I’m not a model myself. I just enjoy watching the drama between the ten young-beautiful model wannabe-girls who live in the same house for ten weeks. They said models can be so cruel, well at least the drama they have showed me a bit of this cruelness I think. Lol
Anyway, recently I read about the “Skinny Waist Campaign” scandal on American Next Top Model (ANTM) reality show which hosted by supermodel Tyra Bank. On the show, Tyra apprise a 19y teenager who has a very skinny waist that a pair of adult hands can easily fitted all around it. Can you imagine that?
I can’t even hold my 3y daughter’s waist with my both arms anymore right now, so how can a 19y old teenager can? This is really sick. There are some pros and contras opinions. Some said that ANTM should do something about Tyra’s statement concerning the girl’s too skinny waist. Thousand of young girls out there are big fans of this reality show. This bad campaign somehow can affect their point of view about what kind of waist that a supermodel (like Tyra) would love to see. Anorexia is the worst thing that could be happen to these young girls.
On the other hand, actually some said that some of these girls are naturally skinny no matter how often they eat and they are in a very healthy condition. No one should judge a skinny girl for having anorexia while the truth is she is naturally skinny. That’s not fair. I agree to that. But still we have a normal measurement about how a 19y young girl’s waist line should look, right? If there is an anomaly like this ANTM contestant has, I think a medical action should have been taken.
But the moral side of this scandal is how ANTM should consider how their audiences will act about their statement. Young girls who really wished that they can be a model will listen to Tyra Bank’s statements and suggestions about how to be a good model. So I think she must be aware of the impact of her appraisal over that teeny tiny skinny waist girl. Though Tyra has released a statement to clarify this situation:

"As a leader in celebrating and promoting healthy body image, I must admit that I regrettably didn't see this clip before it was released to the public," she said in a statement to People magazine. "But on behalf of the Top Model team, these were not the intentions, and we truly apologise for any confusion, anger or disappointment it may have caused."

.....but still it’s not something that you can just simply take back, dear. Once it was pronounced, people will always remember. In my opinion, it’s okay to be a model, as long as you keep your healthiness on top of your priority. A healthy body will make you look more beautiful than ever, isn't that right girls?
