My Vaseline Over The Body Shop

What kind of body lotion do you wear right now, girls? Do you love it? I use two different kind of body lotion now. I hope it doesn’t sound weird to you. My favorite choice after all is always be Vaseline. That’s for sure. But I can’t deny that the fragrant becomes too familiar and too average to me after years of using. I think you must have been in the same situation with me. If you use the same certain product for years, you can find it as less interesting. However, I can’t just throw away this Vaseline body lotion and move into another brand. I only need to find something new, something more fragrant than this one. Don’t get me wrong, I still love Vaseline and I think it really works for me. I'm still going to use it for my daily care. However, it would be nice to have another body lotion which can be used as a kind of perfume at the same time for it's fragrance right? Because Vaseline can't give me the fragrant I want.
So, for the sake of searching something new, I try to use The Body Shop body lotion these past few months. I choose the Japanese Cherry Blossom body lotion. I have a member card in this store which I rarely use.
I love the smell from the moment I use the product sample onto my skin. When the store assistant finally approached, she successfully persuades me to buy one. I love the fragrance and I think I can use this one alternately. I can use my Vaseline for home treatment while my Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom can be use for outside activities for its fragrance. But I must admit that I regret my decision a bit.
Turns out that The Body Shop body lotion is so sticky in my skin indeed very fragrant. It’s like wearing a fragrant paper glue. I thought it’s just for the first time applied and later it will absorb quickly. But I was wrong. The fragrance stays there for the rest of the day as well as the sticky feeling. I’m a kind of person who sweats a lots and the sticky feeling just makes everything even worse.
Now I turn back into my Vaseline body lotion and leave the Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom in my drawer. I don’t want to throw it since it’s not a cheap body lotion. I still can use it, sometimes. But now I prefer my Vaseline.
This is my personal experience, girls. No one pays me to write this. I just want to share my experience with you and find out whether you have the same problem with me. But for me The Body Shop body lotion doesn’t work. I definitely would not repurchase it ever.

Take Milk Bath Regularly

What is the story behind the milk-bath treatment actually? Well, there are several stories about this, ladies. First, there is a tale about a fragrant mistress of Chinese emperor named Iparhan from Uighur clan in Qing dynasty. She was a beautiful and kind woman who was famous because of her good smell. Even the emperor himself fall out for her from the first time he saw Iparhan and infatuated by her body fragrant. Reputedly, Iparhan’s body was so fragrant by taking  milk bath every time. She then successfully conquers the emperor’s heart and became the most favorable mistress. In this case the milk helps her a lot.
But the most famous story about this milk bath is that Cleopatra also took advantages of milk bathing to keep her skin soft, radiant and glowing. It contains lactic acid and Alpha Hydroxy Acid (also known as AHA) which be able to dissolve your dead skin cells.

Well, how to do it anyway? It’s simple actually. In order to get the best result, you need to do the exfoliation first before taking a milk bath. Exfoliation will get rid of all your dead skin cells first, but remember to do it when your skin in dry condition.

Meanwhile, add 4 cups of milk into warm water and let it soak for a moment. When you’re finished with the exfoliation, rinse the milk thoroughly on to your entire body. The oil in the milk will moisturize your skin and make it soft and radiant. However, do not stay too long on your milk bath since milk also contains particular acids that may irritate your skin. In case this happens, rinse off the milk immediately from your body.
After all, you still can have your soft and radiant skin, ladies. Do this regularly. Remember, you can take milk bath on your own bathroom, right?

Body Exfoliation

A regular body skin exfoliation can be very useful to keep your skin young and soft. It will help to unblock the old skin cells and lessen hairs. Exfoliation is also very useful for stimulating the blood circulation since you’ll do some massage during the exfoliation process. I usually use granules as the exfoliator, but you can always use other different ones such as exfoliating gloves or loofah, body scrub lotion, or body scrub polishes.
How to make a perfect exfoliation then? First, before showering your body (your body is still in a dry condition), brush your skin softly using your exfoliator item, such as this gentle loofah below, to stimulate your circulation and remove dead skin cells. Do that for about five minutes and after that you can take a shower like usual. You may also want to use the loofah once again onto your wet skin and that alright. But you need to brush wet skin more carefully since the skin has been smoothen by the water.
Loofah
After shower, cover your body skin with moisturizer cream. Your skin will absorb the moisture easily and make your body looks and feels fresher. Especially when you have a plan to sunbathe, you might want to exfoliate your body skin first. Because the exfoliated skin will give you a perfect tan as the result along with a healthy and shiny look as the bonuses.

Some Fun On The Sun

Love sunbathing? Beware of the harmful UV rays, fellas. There are two types of UV rays. The first one is Ultraviolet B (UVB) which can bring damage to the epidermis and dry your skin also. This UV type is the main cause of the sunburn effect you have after sunbathing. The second type is Ultraviolet A (UVA) which is also the most dangerous one because it brings damage to the inner layer of the skin itself. UVA is the main cause of ageing and the worst of all is the skin cancer.

How to avoid those harmful effects and still can enjoy the sunbathing then? The most important thing to do before lying under the sun is to apply the sunscreen first. You need to choose sunscreen which contains Sun Protection Factor (SPF) on it. The SPF will cover your skin and screen out the harmful UV rays.

Apparently, most of the sunscreen products we found on the market are only working to protect us from UVB, since there is no certain measurement yet for the right amount of SPF to protect the skin from UVA. However, if we use the sunscreen with SPF, we can still be protected from UVA and UVB. So, don’t worry.

Pay attention to the number of SPF written on the sunscreen’s package. The number will tell you how much time you have (while using that product) under the sun before getting your skin burn. For examples, some researches results found out that Asian skin will get the sunburn after 25 minutes under the sun without using any sunscreen.
Then use a simple formula:
SPFnumber x 25 minutes
If you use the SPF15 sunscreen: 15 x 25 = 375 minutes
So the SPF15 sunscreen will protect you from sunburn for about 6 hours. After that you need to apply the sunscreen once again.

The low SPF sunscreen can be used on daily activities such as working or driving. But if you spend more time under the sun, such as sunbathing or swimming, make sure you use the higher SPF sunscreen. It will cover you better from the harmful UV rays.

So, grab you sun glass and have some fun on the beach or swimming pool, ladies.

Cellulite, Go Away

Every body hates cellulite. Those furrowed signs on the skin surfaces (usually around hips and thighs) look really ugly. It reminds me about the rough skin of a lime. This is definitely not something that you want to show off. Women who have those signs will cover it up so tightly even from their own husbands.

The truth is that there’s still no cure for cellulite yet. Cellulite itself is fat cells which have been trapped under the skin tissues.

But if you can’t cure it, at least you can do something to conceal the rough look skin. You may use “tanner lotion” to cover the rough skin because dark skin can cover cellulite better than the light skin. You can also try to use a special pill for reducing cellulite purpose, such as Cellulift. If you do either one of these regularly, then you may conceal the rough skin surfaces but it doesn’t mean that cellulite will be demolished forever. As I said before, there’s still no cure yet to demolish cellulite for good.

Wise men say: Preventing is better than curing. We can prevent cellulite from appearing by applying moisturizers or olive oil regularly to the skin surfaces. It will maintain the skin moist and the skin will look smooth and soft. Watch out for your weight. If you feel like your weight is increasing, do some exercises. Cellulite main cause is the body weight itself. The more weight you have the more cellulites will appear. So, make sure to maintain the normal weight for your own health and to prevent cellulite for good.

But, if you already have cellulite on your body, no need to be ashamed. All you need is avoid using mini skirts or short pants.

If you need to use LBD (little black dress) for a party, use a long sheer black stocking to help you cover the cellulite on your skin. See, cellulite is not the end of the world. You can still look fashionable by choosing the right apparels.

Inhales The Papaya Enzyme

Papaya is one of many fruits than can be very useful to keep your skin looks healthy and shiny. It contains Vitamin E as antioxidant, vitamin A as beta-carotene, C, B complex, calcium, potassium, zinc and protein. The enzyme on papaya has been clinically proven as anti ageing enzyme (aha…love this part..lol). This enzyme can also heal the sun burn skin by removing dead cells faster from the skin in order to accelerate the growth of new healthy cells.

On the kitchen, we can use papaya to soften the meat before cooking. The same reason we can use on skin treatment also. Because this kind of enzyme can also soften our skin cells that help to refine the skin look and accelerate the regeneration process.

As we know, our skin cells can only last for 28 days before finally broken and die. These broken cells will be replaced by the new layer of skin cells right below the old broken cells. If we don’t remove the broken cells immediately, those cells will be accumulated and make some dark spots on skin surface. This spots will make your skin look dull and at the same time make you look older.

Seems like papaya is the answers to many questions we have. This fruits have so many benefits. You can consume it regularly for a better metabolism on your body. You can also use it to maintain your skin to look fresh and healthy.

Just mince it finely and then apply it to your whole body for a few minutes. Do this regularly and you can have a healthy and shiny look skin naturally. Because everything that comes from our mother nature is usually free of bad side effects.

Sometimes, you can leave all those artificial skin care products and let your skin inhales the sweetness of nature products. Because fashion is not just about decorative make up, but having a healthy from the inside as well. Have a beauty day, my friend..
