Dangerously Crazy

So many women nowadays become so addicted to designer items such as bags, shoes or clothes. As you know, most of those things are really expensive. Why? In my mind, those items were designed for groups of people with certain range of income such as heir/heiress, actor/actress, noble family or kind of people like that. That's why they make the shoes or bags expensive.

But what will happen if you become one of those who addicted to these expensive item, while you actually come from "average" people? The answer is, dangerously crazy! For example, if you work as a staff in a small with income less than $2000 per month. Somehow, deep inside your heart, you dream about having a $8000 Hermes birkin bag. Then to fulfill this dream, you will do almost anything such as borrowing money, or stop having dinner for more that a year just to be able to save some money. This what I called dangerously crazy!

What exactly is the reason why women are so crazy about designers items? Well, I know a friend who loves to buy original Louis Vuitton bags for collection just because most of her friend in her office wear that kind of bag. Some people also say that designers items are usually last longer than anonymous bags. So, even though you must sacrifice a big amount of money to buy it, you still can consider yourself as as investor who save her money by purchasing expensive original items since you can always sell them back anytime you like. I'm sure you can add more and more reasons to this addiction.

It's okay to buy or to collect expensive designers items as long as you don't have to sacrifice your own neck for that. If you only have $2000 income per month, then buy for your self a maximum $1000 bag. Because an expensive bag is not worth to replace your meal money or other bills you must pay each month. Forget "Shop till you drop" and replace it with "Shop wisely"

Be A Fair Seller

I love to shop online and manage to buy several things this last few months. Well, some may consider that shopping online is not actually shopping (as a friend of mine said) since the buyer and seller is not actually meet each other. So it has lost the excited part of selling and buying process. But I don't see it that way. For me, nothing is better than able to buy things I like from in front of my laptop without losing time to visit the place directly. Not to mention the benefit that I will be able to buy stuff from online stores which far away from my hometown which sometimes offer quite lower prices. I bought things cheaper from online stores out of my town compared to the stores nearby.

So, you may say that I'm not a newbie in this online buying anymore. I have enough information and know more about how to buy things online safely and avoid from being conned about the exact price. I will not easily believe the price I saw before making any research about other store's price list first. Price and trust are things you need to maintain from your customers if you have an online shop business.

The only thing I hate from buying online is that I can't have my purchase directly after ordering. I must wait at least two days for it to arrive. That's why sometimes I also like to buy stuff from friends who sell their products from door to door. The price is a bit higher than the online store (maybe because they also buy products online too, right) but I can have my purchase right away. That's the beginning of my story.

I met a new woman who sells almost everything I like, especially bags and accessories. She told me that all her stuff are cheaper than other sellers and she offered me special prices. And guess what? She's a stupid liar! As a matter of fact, all her stuff are too expensive compared to the online stores which offer only half price from her. I can't stop laugh. I wonder if anyone out there is stupid enough to buy from her whatsoever. Maybe, there will always one or two customers who will only buy once from her. But they will never come back to buy more.

I mean, how dare you playing with higher prices when people can easily get the lower ones? Especially to someone you know. You will lost the opportunity to have a long term relationship with your customers which is bad for your business. And believe me, rumors spread quickly and many more people will find out about your stupid business. Just be fair. Even a fair seller sometimes finds it's hard to have regular customers nowadays.

Silly Girl Usually Looks Down On Other People Life

People say: "Don't judge a book by its cover" and definitely don't judge other people by their outer look! Because you know that look can be very manipulated. I just want to share a short story with you all girls. I met several new female friends these past three months. I'm a kind of person who can get along easily, but it doesn't mean that I can find a close friend that easy too. I love to talk to new friends and share general topic but I prefer to avoid talking about personal stuff with them. Usually, after a few week, I will able to choose one of these new people to be the close one and be a close friend with whom I can share personal stuff.

This morning, my new clique told me story about how look can be very manipulated. There is a woman among us who barely talk to us everyday. She has a nice smile and always spread sweet words to us when we're together. She's a kind of girl who can get along together easily too and share almost everything (including personal stuff) with all of us easily. She makes jokes and we already have our each Blackberry PIN to communicate everyday. Her name is Aan.

Turns out that somehow she tells bad stuff about all of us behind us with her friend whom apparently is my clique's close friend too. But I never meet her before. She said that Aan made up story about how she actually is the richest one among us all and how we can't get along with her life style until now. Basically she conclude that we're all just a bunch of people who can only sit and listen to whatever she wants to say and look amazed. She gossiped us a lot, but this friend of mine said that it doesn't matter for me to know about the details. She told me this so that I know about the real Aan is and know how to react and talk in front of her in the future.

One thing that I can't understand about this silly Aan is that we only meet each other for about two months. Ever since we've never hang out together, never share personal stuff together, we do not even know each other address, nothing. All we have is exchanging Blackberry PIN though we never use to communicate so far. So, how can she made up a story to make us all look bad behind our back anyway? Imagine the kind of story she'll make if only she knows us all better and deeper! All I can think of as an answer to this is: maybe she's a psycho!

Turns out that she actually can not afford the life style that she's been proud of. It's all fake! She can't afford it but she pretends to. She has manipulated so many people before, borrowing money for life style purpose but wasn't able to return the money back. She tried to have a lifestyle she can't actually afford. Well, that's not a big problem for me as long as she doesn't judge me based on how I look and look down on me just because I can't tell story about my money and my lifestyle in front of her. Sorry, I'm not that kind of person.

Maybe I'm too naive for I always try to look at this world as a nice place. I try to make friendship instead of finding enemy. But somehow, there will always be people out there who naturally make themselves as other people's enemy. That's not someone that I like to hang out with. And I can't pretend to like her and smile to her anymore from now on. Not after knowing her bad habit behind me. I will definitely try to avoid her in the future and let her enjoys her disgusting habit about looking down on other people. I don't need to explain who I am and my lifestyle to her. She doesn't deserve it anyway. Farewell, you silly.. LoL

My Nick Name Story

Aha, its Friday again! As usual, I will join the 5QF meme here and (as usual also) I love the questions above.
1. Do you have any nicknames and if so how did it come about?
I got a few nick names actually. For your information, my real name is Risma. Back when I was a teenager, I have a few close friends who spent most of time together. We made a particular name for each of us just to make is –you know- exclusive (lol) We called each other with our nickname all the time. Not only in the class room but also at phone or everywhere we met accidentally. We are still calling each other our old nicknames until now, can you believe it? And my nick name is: Kimi. (lol) I know! I can’t find the connection between my real name with this one. But that’s the fun part about it, right? Some friends also used to call me Ling-Ling. It’s a common name among Asian females especially the Chinese. They gave me this nick name accidentally just because I have a pair of small eyes like the Chinese even if I’m not Chinese. But I receive that nick name happily because I realize that they did that because they care :)

2. What is your birth order amongst your siblings?
I’m the oldest among my siblings. I have one sister named Flora who is a year younger from me. When we were a kid, we spent most of time fighting (lol) and looks like we never fit to each other. But as we grow older we can understand each other easier and be best friend until now. She is going to marry her boyfriend this October and I’m so glad for her. The youngest one is my brother named Reynando who is 3 years younger than me. As the only boy among us, he used to be spoiled by my moms and turned into a selfish kid. As he grows up, he becomes more mature and cares for other people more than ever. He works in the capital city until present.

3. In a movie of your life, who would play your significant other?
I love Lucy Liu from Charlie’s Angels. I think she will be the perfect significant other for me. She looks tough yet feminine in the same way. Moreover she has that Asian look and will look more natural rather than I choose Cameron Diaz for instance (lol)




4. What is currently your favorite song?
My currently favorite song now is an old song from Green Day titled: 21 Guns. I love those magnificent voices of the cast of American Idiot singers. Somehow their voices make me stop doing anything and listen to the lyrics completely. I will be happy to share the video with you here. Hope you enjoy it also.


5. Are you saving your money for anything right now? Big or small purchase?
Actually yes. I want to buy a complete package of Clinique skin care and cosmetics which obviously not cheap for me but I really want to have the complete package one day. So I’m saving my money right now :)

Do My Own Grocery Shopping

Would you trust someone else to do the grocery shopping for you? I may trust some one to do this for me only if I provide the list about things I need before. But I wouldn’t trust anyone to shop for me without any particular list. I’m the one who know all stuff I need and what kind of product that I want. I mean, how do you feel when you’re run out of “low fat milk” and someone bought you “full cream milk” instead? Or when you run out of “chocolate cereals” that somebody gave you “corn flake cereals” instead? It’s hard to admonish someone for their wrong purchase especially when they helped you for free right? But you can’t also stop murmuring about it.
That’s why it’s better for me to do my own grocery shopping instead of letting somebody else do it for me. But if somehow I can’t manage to do it myself then I’ll take extra time to write down everything I need on a list complete with the particular products or brands that I usually use. And I avoid writing too many stuff on this list. Only the most important things. Then I will find another time for me to buy the rest of my groceries myself. How about you? Sun Rising. Its Saturday!

1. When was the last time that you watched a sunrise? Who were you with?
I believe it was SOO many years ago (lol) when we went hiking to one of the tallest mountain in my hometown with some friends from college. We started to walk right in the middle of the night and arrived at the top of the mountain exactly when the sun’s starting to rise. That’s an unexplainable experience. At that time I realized that I was only a tiny spot in this universe which made by our almighty God.

2. If President Obama promised he'd do one thing you asked, what would you ask him to do?
Funny! I’m not quite sure (lol) maybe I will asked him to help unemployment home makers like me by providing suitable jobs that can be done without leaving our kids behind. And still earn money. Its something that can not be fulfilled easily here in Indonesia.

3. What is one experience that has strengthened your character the most so far?
My childhood experience wasn’t good enough. I remember how I must think hardly just to be able to buy books when my parents can’t afford me enough money for that. Yah, we’re lucky to be able to graduate from university and somehow our parents can afford the bill for us. Now, I want to teach my kid to appreciate whatever she has right now. She must know that some other kids may not as lucky as she is and own fewer things than she has. She must thank God for that; respect all of her belongings; study hard and do the best for her life.

4. What is the first thing that you usually do after completing Saturday 9?
Uhm.. this is my first post for Saturday actually. But usually, after joining any kind of meme like this, I will start visiting other blogger who already listed on the Linky. I’d love to read other bloggers answers too.

5. Tell us about someone either in your life or in the blogosphere that you think is extremely funny.
I can’t actually remember this one. I laugh every time I read or hear something funny. But I will soon forget about it in the next time. Forgive me for my bad memories. (lol)

6. Where was the last bed that you slept in that was not your own?
I think it was on last March when we had a trip back to my parent’s house in my hometown for a vacation. Actually, it was my bed when I was a teenager and stayed with my parents. But I left home and stayed in another city when I entered university. I started to work after graduated until I met my husband in this new city and got married. So officially it’s not my bed anymore, right? (lol)

7. Have you ever been too drunk to remember anything?
No! I have never get drunk in all my life before :) Obviously, I don’t drink (hey..don’t call me geek!) *grin*

8. Have you ever licked something to clean it?
This is a bit embarrassing and I only did it when no one’s around and I’m all by myself. I used to like to lick my plate after finished eating the food on it especially if it was one of my favorite foods. I can hold myself from doing so. But it was a long time a go. I don't do it again now. I mean it (lol)

9. Who, outside of family or a S/O, has influenced your life the most?
I think they would be the Book writers! I read a lots of books and I usually inspired by them. I also like novesl that been written based on true stories.

My Top Three Movies All The Time

I am a movie maniac. I even have a personal blog contain every movie that I've ever saw before. It doesn't have to be a latest movie though. I love old movies too such as Ben Hur or To Kill A Mocking Bird below. But actually, my most favorite theme of all is HORROR. Yeah, I will pick unknown horror movie DVD instead of famous drama movie DVD. That's why almost 80% of my movie blog contents are horror (lol)

Here we back with 7th round from the ABC Wednesday. I can see that letter for today is back to A. However, still this is my first A on ABC Wednesday yet. And I will definitely follow this meme once Again.

Actually, this is the most lazy day I got Along this weekdays. I don’t know exactly why but somehow All I can do today is just sitting in front of television And watch Angelina Jolie’s old movies such As Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Beowulf and A Mighty Heart.

I Adore this beautiful Angel so much for how she Acts and All her charity Activities. Though seems like she starts to retire from the entertainment world, I still love to read news About her regarding her humanitarian Activities. Bravo Angelina!!
