The Sunday Stealing

1. Lots of pillows or just one? Describe your pre-sleeping rituals.
As I ever mention before, I'm the real queen of sleep LoL. I don't need any rituals or stuff like that in order to get sleep. I only need to lay my back down and close my eyes. Then snap your fingers, I'll be sleeping (grin). And I don't want too many pillows around me. I just need one pillow for my head and another one to hug in my arms.

2. What kind of books do you read?
Novel is my favorite one. I like classic novels or fantasy theme. But the most important thing for me before deciding to buy a novel is the number of pages. The bigger the number, the happier I am.

3. What are your neighbors like?
Friendly

4. What's really creepy to you?
Bugs, insects, snakes

5. What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Cosmetics and skin care.

6. Do you prefer your junk food sweet, salty or savory?
I prefer salty food though I may like savory too. I don't like sweet.

7. What was the last thing you expensive bought?
One Lancome Maquicake for about $50 price (wink)

8. What is your greatest fear?
Losing my family member

9. Do you get cravings? If so, what do you crave?
Yes! I'm craving for foods!

10. What do you do to change your mood?
Watching movie, read a new novel or go to our favorite restaurant.

11. What was the last meal you ate that you loved?
Spicy friend rice. Yummiiee..

12. Do you want to learn another language? If so, why?
I've learn English. But I really want to learn Mandarin language. It's the second important language now, I suppose.

13. What's something that you'd like to say to someone right now?
To my hubby who stay in different city now: miss you much, darling..

14. What are you looking forward to?
Christmas! I can't wait for Christmas to come...... Yay!

The Cure

1. FRIDAY I’M IN LOVE

Do you have a certain day of the week for particular meal, such as pizza night or a family night, such as Game night?
I don't think we have such a thing. But, we always spend the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) together as a family. Hubby and I will take our daughter to visit places she loves such as playground or have dinner in our favorite restaurants.

2. LOVECATS

What is your favorite brand of tea (or iced tea)?
Tazo Tea will be my favorite. You can find it in every Starbucks store. I love it for it's various taste/scent. My favorite one will be Chai. Hmm...

Have you ever joined a dating service or used personal ads to find a date?
Nope. I don't think people will ever take this service seriously. I mean, if you need to build a relationship with someone, why don't you join other social network or activities in "real world" instead of "virtual world". People can camouflage themselves in virtual world in order to look good and I call that as cheating. Meet the real people, meet more people, make new friends. That's all you need.

4. NEVER ENOUGH

What is the last project you worked hard on, only to get knocked down with friends /family insults about it?
Nothing as far as I can remember.

What kind of trick do you mean? If you're talking about magician stuff, then I'm not the right person to answer LoL. I don't know any trick.

When was the last time you felt old or were told by someone else that you were too old to do something?
No one has ever told me that I'm too old to do something since I'm only 29! But some of my high school friends told me that I look different now. Well, of course I look different. My body is not as delicious as I used to be LoL. I'm getting older every year, and that's so natural. I will accept that condition with a smile :)

What is the nicest thing about sleeping with someone else, or sleeping alone?
Of course I will prefer to sleep with my hubby better than sleep alone. It feels nice to have somebody in your side and accompany you in your sleep. I miss him so much now...

Laughing. I can see angelic bright on their faces every time they laugh..

My Health And Beauty Stuff

This week topic for Girls Topic is about shopping, girls especially about Health and Beauty. Well, I usually shop for our grocery monthly. I will spend at least two hours visiting section every section with a long list in my mind. I hate to go back over and over again just because I missed one thing. So, I will buy everything including some of my Health stuff and Beauty shop at that time.
One thing for sure, I will stop by in health section to buy some daily vitamins for me. I consume vitamin C regularly to maintain my healthiness. I also buy non fat milk for me and hubby.
In the beauty section, I usually buy my facial wash along with the face scrub. I’ve been changing my facial wash and scrub couple of times until I find one which obviously the best for me. At first I choose Olay before replacing it with L’oreal until now. This is also the time for me to buy my hand and body lotion. As I mention before, I always love Vaseline. I will buy the biggest bottle every month LoL. Then for soap, I pregfer Dove. And that’s all.
For my other cosmetics such as powder, foundation and lipstick, I seldom buy them during grocery shopping. I will take special time to visit the official stores of brands I like. For skin care products I prefer Clinique and for cosmetics such as powder, lipstick, etc I usually go to Ultima II or Lancome stores.
And that’s my story, girls.. What about you?

On A Burning Fire

1. You are stranded on a desert island. There is only one match left in the matchbox. What would you use it for?
To light the fire obviously. Well, what else you can use it for anyway? Give me a volley ball then I will make a "William doll" person for me. LoL

2. Do you burn bridges in relationships?
I think I do. I tend to end relationship completely with my ex-s. I want them to disappear for good. Well, that's me

3. Name one thing you'd like to set on fire today.
How about houses of those greedy corrupt-ors in my country? Those thieves have stolen so many for their own benefits and left nothing for those in need. I wonder whether they will survive or not if they have to live like poor people after they lost everything on fire.

4. Have you ever burned a cupcake?
No? Have you? What will it taste like then?

5. If you had your choice and could change nature's ways, instead of smoke and lava, what should spew out of volcanoes?
Something to make the soil more fertile for plants and clear the air at the same time. That's what we need to live comfortably in this earth and defeat the global warming issue.

6. When is the last time you used a Fire Extinguisher?
Never used one of it until now. I'm lucky enough to be spared of stuff like that. Thank God.

7. Have you ever known anyone with a fiery uncontrollable temper? How did you handle it?
I know I can't handle it at all since I can also lost my temper at the same time. So, it's better for me to stay away and keep my distance from that kind of people. There are so many nice people out there to talk to.


8. You are with your significant other. What song are you singing around the campfire?

9. What is the one thing you'd gladly leave IN your house in case of fire.
Nothing. I love all my belongings. Losing them will make me sad.


10. When is the last time you got fiery fighting mad?
Years ago, when I was still work in my office before getting married. I want to forget it.

11. Do you believe in hell?
I believe that hell is there every time we feel devastating. Hell is also exist every time we lost someone we love. Hell is exist when human must struggle so badly in order to survive. I believe that situations are similar to hell.

12. Do you or have you ever smoked? 
Nope. I don't smoke and I will never smoke :) It's bad for me and people around me

Jugun Ianfu-Beauty Leads to Disaster

Have you ever heard about the term “Jugun Ianfu” before? I think most of you who live in Asia will at least ever heard about this once. Jugun Ianfu (JI) has a similar meaning with prostitutes. But the most general term for this is Comfort Women. The difference is that prostitutes get paid for their “services” while JI works involuntarily. In fact, they were forced to leave their houses (most of them were kidnapped) to become prostitutes for Japanese troops in Asia during war 1942-1945 for FREE! Bottom line is these women were forced to be Japanese troops’ sex slaves.
The victims of Jugun Ianfu come from many countries in Asia, such as Indonesia, Philippine, Taiwan, and Korea. Maybe there’s a different about the term/name used for these women in several countries, but actually they have similar meaning. There’s no specific numbers which able to describe the exact numbers of JI, but some researches found 20.000-30.000 victims and some others found 50.000-200.000 victims. It’s difficult to get the exact number because most of these women choose to keep silent and stop talking about their extremely embarrassing experiences in their young ages. Ex-Jugun Ianfu grows old in shameful way and must bear with mockery and insulting from people around them for what they’ve faced through. They were stamped to be Japanese troops’ prostitutes even when the reality ensures that they were actually victims of foreign military rape. That’s why they choose to be silent and conceal their past experiences; it’s to avoid mockery and judgments from other people. There’s no way Japan can pay for what these women had in their young ages nowadays.

But there’s a movement from Jugun Ianfu victims in many countries who decide to break the silence and seek justice for women victims of foreign military rapes. On 1995, Japan Authority made a fund institution called Asian Women’s Fund to help these women. But we both know that no money in this world could make all victims of troops’ sex slaves forget about their dark experiences. They condemn the beauty of their young faces and bodies since it only lead them to disaster like hell! Sometimes beauty won’t give you nothing but dark ages.

Watching The Wheels Go Round

1. What do you see when you are watching the wheels go round?
I feel boring. I will try to find another thing to look instead.

2. Do you watch reality shows? Which ones?
I'm not a fan of reality show actually. But I wonder if the "Next Top Model" shows are reality show. If so, then yes, I watch it regularly--everyday-- LoL And they're the only reality show I watch.

4. Do you feel "reality" shows are real or are they faked?
Though they may look real, I think script writers and creative directors will take part of this show. That's why the viewers can find these shows attractive. There's a bit of drama in everything.

5. What does your personal neon sign say to the world?
Happy mommy is in the house!

6. Ever seen a neon sign with certain letters burned out so that it said something unintended?
I think I saw that kind of neon sign somewhere before but it was a long time a go and most of them are in Indonesian. You will enjoy this picture below instead LoL

7. What gives you a headache? Could be a scent, a sound, someone's actions - anything.
A terrible scent could give me a headache but terrible sound could give me the worst one. I like quietness where everybody talks in a proper tone and volume.

8. What song, artist or album in your music collection would you pull out and play if you wanted to give your roommate/neighbors a huge, head-splitting headache?
Aha! I think every rap songs will be juussssttt perfect for this occasion! LoL

9. What do you do to relieve stress?
Sometimes I feel sleeping will reduce the stress but then I think spend some times in an open space and enjoy natural scenery will be the perfect choice.
