How do you deal with office bullying? (2)
If some people hate you then bully you because you are beautiful, then do not consider yourself as a victim. You are the spot light here, ladies! And they envy you for that. You don’t need to hide behind your desk and hope that nobody will look at you cynically. Look at everyone with your sweetest smile and look them in the eyes. They who really hate you will no longer consider you as a weak target since you still able to ignore all their cruel thoughts and opinions against you and able to give the smile on your face for them. But if somehow there are kind of people who don’t actually hate but a bit scared of your beauty, they can turn to be your friends at that time. They can see that you’re not a self-proud beautiful woman, but a friendly and full of smile instead. In this case, you have successfully reducing the number of your enemies and starts make friends.
As for the idea-thief, you must do something serious about this. Good idea will stabilize your position in your office as your boss might start to pay attention on how smart and creative you are. When someone intends to steal the “spot light” from you, you must fight back! There are so many ways available for you to beat these wacko idea-thieves. But the most important thing is to show them that you won’t accept any of their foul plays. Usually, there is only one leader among these idea-thieves, you only need to know and find which one of them and beat him/her down. Then the rest of their ally will start to slow down or even stop from stealing your idea.
Just in case the situation is getting worse and everything you did is useless, then you might want to find another job in different place. This is really not conducive for you to grow and develop. Find a place where you can focus all your energy and attention to work and grow. Indeed, bad people are everywhere. But there’s a big possibility that you can beat all the bully in different office better than the old one. I mean practice makes perfect right? As long as you fight back, you are not a victim of bullying. So, be brave, ladies! Fight them elegantly and you don’t have to worry about your spot light being stolen by those pathetic people.

Bullying is not happen among teenagers at schools only, ladies. Believe me; bullying is also happening in your office. Have you watch “Ugly Betty” the series yet? Fine, if you want to say that it was only happens on TV and those cruel people like in those series are never exist in this real world. But I believe that the script of that serial can be made after the writer saw or think about bullying at the office first.
Any female can be a Betty Suarez in their own way. You don’t have to be ugly to be like Betty. You can be pretty but you no one wants to be your friends and avoid to be somewhere around you. You can be as smart as Betty but just like her, everybody tries to bring you down. When someone in the office stole your fresh idea and claimed it to be their own in front of your boss; that could also consider to be bullying. And the worst part of this bullying stuff is that you don’t have guts to fight back or to defend yourself. That’s the main point of bullying, you just can’t fight back.
Are you a victim of bullying right now, my friend? How do you deal with it? The point is you must find your own brave which obviously deeply buried inside your heart. It may not sound that easy though, but you must try unless you want to be a victim for the rest of your time. If you are a smart person, you must also smart enough to read the situation when someone wants to bring you down and do something to prevent it. When they saw that you can actually fight back, the will reconsider every cruel plans they’ve made for your in the future. Because victims of bullying are actually never fight back for their rights in interests. You need to reverse the situation and show them that you’re not a victim.

Could You Defend Yourself Physically If Needed?
"Could you defend yourself (physically) if you needed to?"
This question's really ticked me off today. Why? It’s just a simple question, you might say. But strangely I found a kind of warning inside this simple question, ladies. It’s the fact that I haven’t equipped myself yet with anything that can help me defending myself physically when needed. What was I thinking?Women will always be considered to be an easy target to criminals out there. I’m pretty sure I can’t defend myself in case a villain comes to harm me today (sigh). I don’t have the ability like those who already took self-defense class. I don’t even have pepper spray inside my purse whatsoever. Now I realize how careless and vulnerable I am.
The only reason why I don’t think much about this self-defense is because I usually go outside with my husband along this time. I don’t like to go outside by myself if it’s not urgent. And whenever I’m with him, I always feel safe and comfort. But then I realized that this couldn’t be happen forever. Sometimes I will face the reality that I must take care of something by myself when hubby’s not around. My daughter will enter her playgroup school this year, and I can't rely on my husband to pick her up to school, right? It’s going to be my duty in the next couple months. Imagine what could happen if I can protect my own self and my daughter.
I’m going to do something about this for sure. If can’t have self-defense class this time, I will at least own a spray pepper inside my purse. But where can I buy stuff like that anyway? (confuse). I can also keep an iron stick inside my car, right under the driver seat. So I’ll be able to grab it anytime I feel like I need to use it.
But the best prevention for me is to avoid going outside alone in the night, ladies. No matter how dangerous this world has been, our own house is still the safer choice compares to the wild street we saw at night. Do all your business in daytime and get yourself safe and comfortable at home after then. If you need to go outside for urgent stuff, ask (at least) a friend to accompany you. In my case, he will be my own husband.
I don’t want to be a paranoid actually, but it’s better for us women to prevent themselves from having those bad things before they happen, right? Self defense is something that women SHOULD have these days.

Shimmering Eye Colors For Your Party
The most common color that woman like is dark brown, pink or peach for daily use. Unless you want to look “different” in positive way, you can use eye colors which have shimmer on it. Honestly, we don't celebrate Halloween here. It's so uncommon and not part of our culture. But I enjoy every post about Halloween I read this month. I hope I can still join this meme in a different way. This time I seek help from Google LoL and I found what I want right away. I choose the best pictures I got and put them here.
I saw several interesting pictures but I like this one the most. I think the main icon of Halloween in pumpkin and I pick costume which show me the "pumpkin part" instead of the orange color only. I can use one of this :)

Flat Shoes? No, I Prefer High Heels
That’s why I never looked into the flat shoes section every time I went into a store. I know that section wasn’t made for me. I will straightly go to the high heels section no matter what. I will never pay attention to any shoes without heels whatsoever. I only have a pair of flat strappy sandals in my drawer for daily use such as shopping for groceries or any kind of places where I can use short and shirt LoL. But when I use jeans or skirts or dresses, I will definitely go with the high heels.My favorite style of all time is simple strappy style and I love to play with colors too. I don’t like too many accessories on my shoes such as a big bow or synthetic flowers on it. The straps or colors can make the statement for the shoes; too many accessories will ruin everything. Like this beauty on the left I saw on Bloomingdale site. Very tempting! That’s okay if I don’t feel good with the flat shoes above; I still can be friends with those tempting high heels.

I can't eat shrimps and crabs when I was a kid. It will bring rashes all over my body. But it seems like I don't have any problem with shrimps and crabs anymore now though I always remind myself to avoid consuming them in a big portion. I'm pretty sure that the allergies is still there.

Being In Control About Your Look
Women have different kind of fashion tastes, that’s for sure. Some want to look neat and formal by wearing dark color outfits or formal outfits such as blazer or pencil skirts. While some other want to look girly (no matter how old they are) and choose to use colorful dresses and fun patterns. Not to mention women who always want to look sexy and tempting by using “small size outfits”. For me, there’s nothing wrong with that. Every single woman has right to show how her feeling and decides what kind of appearance she wants to have.
But sometimes, your partner just couldn’t agree with your taste. They want you to change how you dressed according to what they considered to be the best for you. They even checked into your wardrobe and decide whether you may keep your old outfits or not. And it’s not fair. They must realize that this is the way you are when they met you. If they find you’re interesting at that time and want to have a relationship, then I can’t see any reason why they want to change you now. If you a kind of woman who loves to wear a sexy tank top and a short skirt, it’s hard to make you use a formal outfit such as a long dress in dark color.
Just remember, you have the right to decide what kind of appearance you want to have. Even if you want to have Lady Gaga’s style, I think you should go for it! Of course, having a relation ship means you also need to open your heart and mind for your partner too. If both of you can find a middle way for this issue, it would be better. But you shouldn’t feel bad about the decision you made just to make your partner happy. Otherwise, maybe you should thing about finding a right one who can accept you just the way you are, girls.

ANTM Skinny Waist Campaign
Anyway, recently I read about the “Skinny Waist Campaign” scandal on American Next Top Model (ANTM) reality show which hosted by supermodel Tyra Bank. On the show, Tyra apprise a 19y teenager who has a very skinny waist that a pair of adult hands can easily fitted all around it. Can you imagine that?
I can’t even hold my 3y daughter’s waist with my both arms anymore right now, so how can a 19y old teenager can? This is really sick. There are some pros and contras opinions. Some said that ANTM should do something about Tyra’s statement concerning the girl’s too skinny waist. Thousand of young girls out there are big fans of this reality show. This bad campaign somehow can affect their point of view about what kind of waist that a supermodel (like Tyra) would love to see. Anorexia is the worst thing that could be happen to these young girls.
On the other hand, actually some said that some of these girls are naturally skinny no matter how often they eat and they are in a very healthy condition. No one should judge a skinny girl for having anorexia while the truth is she is naturally skinny. That’s not fair. I agree to that. But still we have a normal measurement about how a 19y young girl’s waist line should look, right? If there is an anomaly like this ANTM contestant has, I think a medical action should have been taken.
But the moral side of this scandal is how ANTM should consider how their audiences will act about their statement. Young girls who really wished that they can be a model will listen to Tyra Bank’s statements and suggestions about how to be a good model. So I think she must be aware of the impact of her appraisal over that teeny tiny skinny waist girl. Though Tyra has released a statement to clarify this situation:
"As a leader in celebrating and promoting healthy body image, I must admit that I regrettably didn't see this clip before it was released to the public," she said in a statement to People magazine. "But on behalf of the Top Model team, these were not the intentions, and we truly apologise for any confusion, anger or disappointment it may have caused."

.....but still it’s not something that you can just simply take back, dear. Once it was pronounced, people will always remember. In my opinion, it’s okay to be a model, as long as you keep your healthiness on top of your priority. A healthy body will make you look more beautiful than ever, isn't that right girls?

Domestic Violence Survivors
After manage to escape, what are you going to do next? Some choose to just run away as far as possible such as move into a different town or country. Well, that is an option too. In this case, you don’t want any more problems and meet your abuser face to face. That’s okay but it won’t solve your problem. There’s still a possibility that he will hunt you and find you back, right?
Another option is you can sue him for what he did and put him into jail for a looong time. In order to do this, you need to provide all evidences you have about the abuses. In Oprah Winfrey show, I find out that you also need to record each date and day of the beatings by making a kind of notes or journal where you can describe the abuse in details. You also need to have pictures of any injuries or bruises you got after got beaten. The point is you must complete any evidence you have with accurate time and date. So you will be able to explain the abuse you got in the court with confidence. In this way, your abuser’s lawyer won’t find a gap to kick you back and accusing you for making all things up. This is also a right option for you if you want to win custody of your kids. If you successfully proved your abuser guilty in the court then you will win the custody.
Anyway, I collected information to make this triple articles based on various sources including magazines, books, TV show or website and this is a general information. This is not an expert opinion since obviously I’m not a Domestic Violence expert myself. But I think, as a woman, I will fully support action to spread the awareness of these domestic abusive behaviors by sharing the signs of domestic abuse itself and tell you that you are not alone there. Make A Plan To Escape
First, plan to escape.
Since your abuser usually makes a tight daily schedule for you, it’s not easy to go to different places to ask for help without being noticed by him. But you can’t do this escape by yourself; you are going to need help either from your friend or any other people you trust. It’s better for you to not involving too many people in this plan to keep it secret. At least you must have someone who can provide you place to hide temporarily so that your abuser won’t find you and forced you to go back home immediately. You need to hide for few moments. Find one person and tell him/her about your condition and you need help. They can also help you to make a right plan about determining the right time to escape.
Second, the budget plan.
Leaving the house means you need more money to survive. You can’t rely on your ally for this since they also have their own budget plan. So, you must start keeping your own money long before determining the escaping day. It’s not easy for you since he must have controlled every penny you have. So you must act wisely to find the best way to steal a little amount of money every time, for yourself, before giving the rest of it to him. Hide your money in places that you absolutely think he wouldn’t ever find out. Be patient on this to avoid any kind of suspicion.
Third, what will you do after managed to escape.
You can not just run away and do nothing. You need to know what you are going to do next. Are you planning to just run away as far as you can; including moving to different town or country? Or are you planning to sue him for what he’s done to you? Do you have kids with him that you need to strive for?

Below are some of the signs that you can observe on your own.
* You’ve been regularly hit for no reason; you got bruises and lots of injuries all over your body.
* He isolates you from your parents, family and friends. You can only rely on him.
* He makes daily time schedule for you everyday, so he will know exactly what kind of activities you have and where.
* He beats you if you fail to follow the time table he gave.
* He humiliates you every time he saw you and makes you sad and embarrassed.

* You feel bad about yourself and have low self esteem issue.
* You aren’t allowed to keep your own money. He makes all decision about money himself, even if you are the breadwinner and he stays at home sleeping.
Actually there are so many other signs about domestic violence but if you having most of the signs above, and then there is a huge possibility that you are trapped in this domestic violence right now. Next, we will talk about what you are going to do in order to escape from this situation.

My Vaseline Over The Body Shop
So, for the sake of searching something new, I try to use The Body Shop body lotion these past few months. I choose the Japanese Cherry Blossom body lotion. I have a member card in this store which I rarely use.
Turns out that The Body Shop body lotion is so sticky in my skin indeed very fragrant. It’s like wearing a fragrant paper glue. I thought it’s just for the first time applied and later it will absorb quickly. But I was wrong. The fragrance stays there for the rest of the day as well as the sticky feeling. I’m a kind of person who sweats a lots and the sticky feeling just makes everything even worse.
Now I turn back into my Vaseline body lotion and leave the Body Shop Japanese Cherry Blossom in my drawer. I don’t want to throw it since it’s not a cheap body lotion. I still can use it, sometimes. But now I prefer my Vaseline.
This is my personal experience, girls. No one pays me to write this. I just want to share my experience with you and find out whether you have the same problem with me. But for me The Body Shop body lotion doesn’t work. I definitely would not repurchase it ever.

Beautiful Women From Time To Time
They said women will sacrifice everything to look and feel beautiful. For example, though some of us (including me) consider stiletto shoes as a must have item, other people think that those sexy shoes are made to torture women and hurt their feet however women still love stiletto. In modern age right now, many women willing to stand the pain of plastic surgery on their bodies just to get what they thought will make them look more beautiful and attractive. Then how about the old time women when stiletto and plastic surgery are not exist yet? Women in the old days have their own perspective about beauty. Today, we may find all this stuff as weird ways to look beautiful. But as I said before, they have their own perspectives about how a beautiful woman should be.

First, we have Foot Binding.
This is a well known tradition in China around 618-1911. In this case, the smaller your feet the better you look. Beautiful women’s feet at that time has only 10-15 cm! How can adult women have such small size of feet like that? The secret is by wrapping the feet so tightly using a ten feet long fabric everyday since they were very young. They usually start to do this on 4-5 years old little girls. The four fingers will be bended towards the sole of foot and the big toe will be bended toward the heel. The wrapper will get tighter and tighter each day to prevent the feet from growing in normal way and this is definitely a tortured way to look beautiful.

Second, we have Corsets.
Despite the tortured and the shortness of breath effect, women still love wearing corsets because it can make your belly look flat and gives you incredibly small waisted. This tradition comes from Europe noble ladies in the middle age. Though corset is still available and still lovable until today, but modern corsets are quite different from the old time one.

Third, we have Sharpening Teeth.
This painful tradition is found in South Asian tribes for many years. Beautiful ladies will sharpening their teeth in particular way using stick and some woods. Imagine the pain that these women should endure. This process can not be done within a day or two. It takes a long time to make your entire teeth sharp like that. So you better get ready for the pain.
